The website was out of date, the shower terrible, in room amenities ordinary and TV that worked intermittently. Would not stay again by choice. Whoever rated this 4 stars was either dreaming or out of touch

Thank you for the feedback Karl,We fixed the TV issue as soon as it was reported to us. Sorry that your rooms was not serviced on the first day of your stay. We will look into the shower problem, but not sure what your issue with that was.

Unfortunately me and my friend who stayed at the peninsula hotel Nelson bay, had the worst time we could ever possibly have, we got woken up at 12:30 by the people that were staying next door, they were blaring their music so loud it physically sounded like it was in our room, they were loud and noisy, had zero respect for anyone else in the vicinity, this went on until 4:00 in the morning, we then looked for a phone to dial “9” which was stated the after hours reception or emergencies, but we had no phone in our room so went to the one on the wall outside and there was no answer, we then confronted the people staying next door and they disregarded us and continued to be extremely loud, to then jumping the fence in to the pool right outside our room, we felt extremely unsafe to the point we left to drove an hour home, at 4:15 in the morning, I then called the manager in the morning to receive some sort of refund for our extremely unpleasant stay that we didn’t even get to comfortably be in till when we were supposed to check out, she proceeded to call her general manager and call me back, they said we could not receive a refund all because we had booked on a different platform and not directly through them! I am extremely upset and pissed off, it is extremely disgusting behaviour and I would never recommend this place to anyone! Do yourself a favour and never stay here!

The property and the beautiful place, my family and I were very satisfied with the property, the only problem is that it does not have laundry inside. Otherwise excellent, I will return soon. thank you

Unfortunately the property was not very clean internally. - Carpet badly needs replacing - very stained and dirty -Only 1 window had a fly screen - couldn’t leave window open in the second bedroom as our toddler could have climbed out -Holes in walls - needs repainting too -Very dusty fixtures and light globe missing from one lamp - No wifi reception where we were -Apartment didn’t get serviced for 2 days & couldnt get new towels as reception was closed @ 5:30pm (although it was Easter Sunday). Still I feel they should have been serviced - Old musty smell as soon as we walked in Could be perfectly liveable but needs work. Judging by other reviews it appears they all get the same response but things don’t seem to be changing

Hi Aaron, we do apologise that your room was not serviced. But as it was the Easter long weekend, there were no services. There is also a number on the front and back doors of reception or you are more then welcome to look our motel up on google for our number. We are very sorry that there was only 1 fly screen in the apartment, I'm not sure as to why that would be, but we are defiantly getting everything fixed and sorted regarding all maintenance. It will defiantly be getting a well needed refresh on the motel.

Was a cute little room, nice location The room wasnt very clean. Especially the bathroom/toilet. Being a housekeeper myself I can tell what’s been done and what hasn’t.

Unfortunately the bathroom hadn't been cleaned well. There had been a leak in the room so the bedding was stained, and room smelled like wet dog. When I told them about it, they weren't particularly bothered. Good Location though.

Thank you Michelle, for the feedback.Sorry that the cleaning wasn't up to standard for your stay. We have had some staff issues of late. Our relief receptionist should have done something about it. We are now under new manager and determined to fix all these issues
