This was one of the best stays that I have had in New York. It was my first time staying in lower Manhattan. I was pleasantly surprised at the proximity of the hotel to many landmarks and great restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. I forgot my shampoo and conditioner at home - and was very happy to see the hotel had full size bottles available in the room. There were refillable water bottles and water stations available - which is awesome because it can really add up if you buy water daily. I recommend getting the room with the kitchenette and a view, if you can. The small rooms are nice and clean (where my travel partners stayed), but the larger room is well worth it if you can fit it into your budget. I would definitely return!

The staff were not attentive or helpful. Specifically, whoever was at the front desk did not welcome or inform me on the check-in process. I called front desk later in the evening because the TV was not working. They promised to send help, but of course no one came. The room was okay, but wouldn’t do an extended stay there. The best part of this hotel was its cleanliness. If you’re looking for a true NYC experience with service and care, you should look elsewhere.
