Come for the cookie and the view; dont come back.
Staying here is not an experience I will repeat as by the time I left the hotel I just had a bad taste in my mouth for how nickle-and-dimed I felt. The staff was great, the room was clean and well furnished, the bed was comfortable, the cookie at check in was memorable, and the view was beautiful However, from the undisclosed parking fee ($15 per day) and the $4 water bottles; everywhere I turned I felt like there was something I could add on to my stay that should have just been included. My room was over $200 per night and I am not planning on coming back. To the hotel owners: figure out how to get validation codes for the only available parking for your own hotel and comp a couple water bottles. It’s the little things that make people want to come back.

First time staying at La Playa inn and would definitely come again! Stayed with a total of 3 friends, 10 minute walk to the train and to downtown to local restaurants. Bars and restaurants. The beach is a 5 minute walk. Staff was great, Helpful and the hotel was clean and had complimentary breakfast. Also a walkable 7-11 and liquor store! :)
